Great looking single signed baseball by former 1969 World Champion New York Mets pitcher...Ron Taylor.

Ron began his career in 1962 with the Cleveland Indians.  He played with the Indians 1962, St. Louis Cardinals 1963-65, Houston Astros 1965-66, New York Mets 1967-71 and San Diego Padres 1972.  During his career, he played in 491 career games and compiled a 45-43 won/loss record with 3 complete games, 72 saves, 464 K's and a 3.93 ERA in 800.0 innings pitched.  Ron was a member of the 1964 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals as well as the 1969 World Champion New York Mets.  Ron signed the sweet spot of this OML Allan H. Selig baseball with a blue ballpoint pen and he also inscribed on the ball, "1969 WORLD CHAMPS", to note his affiliation with the great team.  He signed this baseball on March 23, 2014.

Ronald Wesley Taylor (December 13, 1937 in Toronto, Canada) is a former professional baseball player. He was a pitcher over parts of 11 seasons (1962–1972) with the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, New York Mets and San Diego Padres. Taylor was a member of two World Series-winning teams: the 1964 St. Louis Cardinals and the 1969 New York Mets. For his career he compiled a 45–43 record with a 3.93 earned run average and 464 strikeouts in 491 appearances, mostly as a relief pitcher.

Taylor did not allow a single hit during his seven innings pitched in four World Series relief appearances.

After his playing career ended, Taylor entered medical school to become a doctor. Taylor, a Toronto native, returned to baseball as the team physician of the Toronto Blue Jays.
