Nino began his career in 1938 with the Cincinnati Reds.  He played his entire two year career with the Reds 1938-39.  During his career, he played in 68 games and banged out 43 hits (including 7 doubles) in 166 at bats for a .259 batting average.  Nino drew 9 walks, batted in 16 runs and scored 17 runs.  He signed this OML Allan H. Selig baseball with a blue ballpoint pen.  He signed this baseball in March 2007.

Anthony Thomas "Nino" Bongiovanni (December 21, 1911 – January 6, 2009[1]) was a Major League Baseball outfielder from 1938 to 1939 for the Cincinnati Reds. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Bongiovanni made an appearance in the 1939 World Series against the New York Yankees.
