Steve began his career in 1978 with the San Diego Padres. He played with the Padres 1978-81, St. Louis Cardinals 1982, Chicago White Sox 1983 and Oakland Athletics 1985. During his career, he pitched in 167 games and compiled a 30-39 won/loss record with 12 complete games, 2 shutouts, 5 saves and 360 K's in 632.2 innings pitched.  Steve was a member of the 1982 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals.  Steve signed the sweet spot of this OML Allan H. Selig baseball on Sunday May 17, 2015 with a blue ballpoint pen.

Stephen Andrew Mura (February 12, 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a retired Major League Baseball player. A pitcher, Mura played from 1978-1985 with the San Diego Padres, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago White Sox, and Oakland Athletics. He was a member of the Cardinals' 1982 World Series winning team.
