Craig Sauer Atlanta Falcons Autographed Signed 8x10 Photo COA

~~Great looking 8x10 color glossy photo autographed by former Falcons linebacker and special teams player of the Atlanta Falcons and former University of Minnesota football player...Craig Sauer.

Craig Sauer was born December 13, 1972 in Sartell, Minnesota. He played his college football at Minnesota and was drafted in the 6th round of the 1996 draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons 1996-99 and the Minnesota Vikings 2000. Used primarily as a special teams player during his career, he played in 73 career games and registered one career sack in 1999 and intercepted a pass in 1998. During his rookie season, he played in all 16 games for the Atlanta Falcons, starting one, finishing the season with 14 tackles on defense and he finished 2nd on the team with 21 special teams tackles. In 1997 he once again played in all 16 games, starting one and he finished the year with 7 tackles and 6 special teams stops. Perhaps his best year was in 1998 when he started 6 of the 16 games he played in during the regular season. During the 1998 season, he finished the year with 36 tackles (including a game-high 11 tackles vs. the New York Jets 10/25/98) and he intercepted his lone career pass off of Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. He also played for the Falcons in Super Bowl XXXIII vs. the Denver Broncos. His last season in Atlanta was 1999 where he once again played in 16 games, starting 3 of them. He registered his first career sack which happened to be on NFL?s MVP?Kurt Warner, had 31 defensive tackles and another 6 special teams tackles. He played in the Vikings first 9 games of the 2000 season, registering 2 defensive tackles and 11 special teams? ones before being sidelined by a recurring foot problem on November 14th.
