Great looking single signed baseball by former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher...Brian Boehringer.

Brian began his career in 1995 with the New York Yankees.  He played with the Yankees 1995-97, 2001, San Diego Padres 1998-2000, San Francisco Giants 2001 and Pittsburgh Pirates 2002-04.  During his career, he played in 356 games and compiled a 26-32 won/loss record with a 4.36 ERA, 3 saves and 432 K's in 534.2 innings pitched.  Brian was a member of the 1996 World Champion New York Yankees and was also a member of the 1998 NL Champion San Diego Padres.  Brian signed the sweet spot of this OML Allan H. Selig baseball with a blue ballpoint pen.  He signed this baseball on Sunday October 25, 2009.

Brian Edward Boehringer (born January 8, 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who pitched for the New York Yankees (1995–1997, 2001), San Diego Padres (1998–2000, San Francisco Giants (2001), and Pittsburgh Pirates (2002–2004). He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and was drafted in the tenth round of the 1990 Major League Baseball Draft by the Houston Astros, but did not sign. He was again drafted in the fourth round of the 1991 Major League Baseball Draft by the Chicago White Sox. He made his major league debut on April 30, 1995, with the New York Yankees.

Career

He won a World Series ring with the 1996 Yankees in only his second year as a pro. Two years later, as a San Diego Padre, he met the Yankees in the 1998 World Series, this time losing to them in four games.

In 2006, Boehringer went 2–4, with a 2.75 ERA with the Omaha Royals. He also played with the Toledo Mud Hens, where he went 3–1, with a 4.83 ERA. He also played for the independent Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League in 2006 and 2007.

Post-Playing Career

He currently serves as a personal infielding instructor for former Pirates shortstop and current Atlanta Braves Shortstop Jack Wilson, with whom he has been good friends since a spat they had in May 2002.[1]
