Great looking, single signed baseball by former 1988 Atlanta Braves All-Star...Gerald Perry.

Gerald began his career in 1983 with the Atlanta Braves.  He played for the Braves 1983-89, Kansas City Royals 1990 and St. Louis Cardinals 1991-95.  During his career, he played in 1193 games and pounded out 832 hits (including 150 doubles, 11 triples and 59 HR's) in 3144 at bats for a .265 batting average.  Gerald also drew 328 walks, batted in 396 runs and scored another 383 runs.  Gerald was named to the 1988 NL All-Star team.  Gerald signed the sweet spot of this OML Allan H. Selig baseball with a blue ballpoint pen and he also inscribed underneath his name, "1988 BRAVES ALL STAR", to note his accomplishment.  He signed this baseball on Sunday October 3, 2010.

Gerald June Perry (born October 30, 1960 in Savannah, Georgia) is a former first baseman in Major League Baseball who played from 1983 to 1995 for the Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals. Perry was selected to the 1988 National League All-Star team. He was the hitting coach for the Chicago Cubs. He was fired on June 13, 2009. He was replaced by Von Joshua.[1] The Oakland Athletics have hired him as batting coach for the 2011 season.

In 1993 he tied a St. Louis Cardinal single-season club record with 24 pinch hits, and in 1995 he became the Cardinals' all-time pinch-hit leader with 70th Cardinal pinch hit.[2]
