~~Single signed baseball by former Washington Senator...Fred Valentine.

Fred began his career in 1959 with the Baltimore Orioles.  He played for the Orioles 1959, 1963, 1968 and Washington Senators 1964-68.  During his career, he played in 533 games and banged out 360 hits (including 56 doubles, 10 triples and 36 HR s) in 1458 at bats (.247 batting average).  Fred also drew 156 walks, drove in 138 rns and scored another 180 runs.  In 1970, he played for the Hanshin Tigers in Japan.  Fred signed the sweet spot of this OML Allan H. Selig baseball with a blue ballpoint pen on Monday July 5, 2010.

This ball is NOT perfect as there are a couple of toning spots on the ball, by the "nt" in Valentine and a couple of other spots on different panels.  Either way, it still looks good and should work well in your collection until you can upgrade it with a NM-Mint one down the road.
